Preparation time is measured from confirmed start. Complete intake, a signed agreement, cleared payment, any applicable no-work period and written start confirmation come first. The pilot currently has a five-business-day no-work period; your delivery date is confirmed before you commit. Full service pages and your signed agreement define the scope.

A clear scope.
A confirmed start.

Your inquiry is free and nonbinding. Reports are remote; site visits, measurements and travel are agreed separately.

  1. Agree on the scope.

    Confirm deliverables, revisions, fee, timing and responsibilities.

  2. Sign and fund the phase.

    Both parties sign before invoicing. Payment clears and any applicable no-work period ends.

  3. Receive written start confirmation.

    With required information complete, Studio Bluework confirms your start in writing. Additional work is agreed and funded before it starts.

Other project costs.

Our fee covers Studio Bluework’s service. The costs below are separate; your project may not need every item.

Consultants and field information
Engineering, energy documents, surveys, measurements, or testing. You select, contract with, and pay licensed consultants directly.
Agency and utility fees
Plan review, permits, and utility work, priced by the city, county, or provider.
Construction
Labor, materials, and site work, priced separately by a contractor.
Already have plans or city-review comments?

We do not offer standalone corrections to another designer’s plans. Taking over existing work requires a separate review of source files, permissions and the original designer’s or architect’s cooperation before we can quote. Your agreement defines revisions to Studio Bluework’s own documents and any coordination we take on.
