Loma Linda residence: The residence from the garden side

The proposed home places the living room, dining area and kitchen through the center of the plan. Three bedrooms sit along one side, while the primary bedroom, its bathroom and walk-in closet occupy the opposite rear corner.

The front porch opens into the living room beside the attached two-car garage. A hallway gathers the three bedrooms, shared bathroom and laundry along the other side of the house. The site plan, roof plan and sections show how this room arrangement fits together as a single-story home.

  1. Give shared rooms a central place

Living, dining and kitchen spaces form a connected sequence from the front entrance toward the rear of the home.

  2. Separate the bedroom groups

Three bedrooms share a hallway on one side; the primary suite sits across the plan with its own bathroom and walk-in closet.

  3. Bring arrival into the plan

The porch leads directly into the living room, while the two-car garage occupies the adjacent front corner.
